My friend and I are interested in helping with the project. We are both members of Lymm History Society. Lynn has written a book about the Lymm Soldiers.
Lynn has also got the details from the cwgc for the soldiers buried in the churchyards in the Stockton Heath area, She will root them out for you.
She started looking for the Stockton Heath war memorial names last year or the year before using ancestry and the files at the research room at Warrington library, She has managed to find quite a few of them
Hi Helen, that’s really interesting and will be very helpful. As you can see from the ‘The Fallen’ page we have 126 names being researched and it’s quite a task. Any research already done and help with the current research would be very welcomed. We have a launch event on Tuesday 24th July at 6:00pm at St. Thomas’ Church.
