Welcome everyone, the project is well underway. The cubs have done their basic research and library visits are being planned where we can access ancestry.co.uk free of charge which I’m sure will unlock much more information and we can start clearing up some of the anomalies with the help of census information.

We’re starting to spread the word about the project and our Launch Event. The Warrington Guardian are on board and on Friday 20th July I’m on Radio Warrington’s Gordon Gandy’s “My Warrington” Show between 2:15pm and 3:00pm, It would be great if you could tune-in, http://radiowarrington.co.uk/listen-live/

Robert met the family of one of the soldiers… Read more »

I’m starting to be contacted by interested parties and individuals about our project. That’s thanks to the Warrington Guardian both online at http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/news/16356600.can-you-help-with-stockton-heath-first-world-war-appeal/?ref=fbshr and in this weeks edition on page 44. Also thanks to Warrington Radio http://radiowarrington.co.uk, my interview on Gordon Gandy’s “My Warrington” Show will also be aired on Sunday 22nd July at 12:00.
I’m really looking forward to our Launch event on Tuesday (http://stocktonheathscouts.org.uk/project-posts/#comment-57)
